Andrea Califano is an Economics PhD student at the IUSS Pavia and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and a researcher at the Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. He is interested in macroeconomics and political economy (he is the author, together with Emiliano Brancaccio, of Anti-Blanchard Macroeconomics, just published by Edgar). His main research topics are the European Union and Latin America - where he spent part of his studies, being concerned with development, social justice, substantive democracy.
